  • The key elements of great storytelling

Throughout the broadcast our audience put questions to our incredible panel, so listen in for answers to some burning internal comms questions.

Our Host:

Chuck Gose

The one and only, Chuck Gose. You may remember him as the hard-hitting host of our ChuckChats series or recognize him as the ultimate procurer of GIFs on Twitter (@ChuckGose). But besides being one of loudest voices (literally) in internal comms, he is a Strategic Advisor at SocialChorus, founder of ICology and host of its associated podcast, and collaborator on Elements of IC. He’s always on the run, jumping from conference to conference all around the world as a popular speaker that’s challenging the IC status quo.

Our Guests:

Helen Deverell

Helen Deverell was one of the IOIc’s top 30 under 30 communicators in 2012 and was awarded the Kathie Jones Rising Star Award of Excellence. With a decade of internal comms experience, she founded Helen Deverell Communications in 2016 and has become a trusted internal comms consultant working with powerhouse communications organizations like The Institute of Internal Communication, All Things IC and Alive with Ideas.

Ally Bunin

Ally Bunin is an exceptional communications practitioner leading in her field, winning both the PRSA Silver Anvil and an IABC Gold Quill awards. She also serves as the chair of Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Programming branch, and previously served as the chair of the Employee Communication branch. Before Ally became the Vice President of Strategic Communications at Brighton Health Plan Solutions, she was leading Organizational Communications for the largest employer in New York, with over 61,000 employees, 21 hospitals, and 450 outpatient centers.

Christopher Swan

What do the Walt Disney Company, LinkedIn, and Avery Dennison all have in common? They have all had the privilege to work with storyteller and communicator, Christopher Swan. But Christopher’s previous work experience isn’t even the most interesting (or impressive) thing about him. On his podcast, My Big Story, he interviews fascinating people doing good work across the USA. Christopher also helps organizations and their audiences find deeper connections in their life and work, as a communications consultant.
